In a quiet residential street in the heart of the village of Guéthary, this Neo-Basque house, built in 1987, has been reimagined over time with a more refined, open, and fluid design. Its architecture embraces local style: a double-pitched roof, white render, and dark shutters, while offering a decidedly contemporary interior layout. From the entrance, the house reveals a sequence of volumes articulated around the southwest light. The dining room, wide open, captures the late afternoon rays and naturally extends the space towards the terrace and swimming pool. The windows blur the boundary between inside and outside: the house breathes, stretches towards the garden, and lives in harmony with the sun. The living room, set back from the street, creates a more intimate setting.
