Modern architecture, this seafront building designed in 1950 by architects Claude Ferret, Louis Simon and André Morisseau, is crowned by a vast 170 m² duplex to be renovated, entirely open to the sea and surrounded by a 25 m balcony.   Following the momentum of the bay, the curved line of the building is punctuated on the lower floors by loggias and red lacquered aluminum panels pierced with portholes. The two upper floors, reserved for duplexes, are enlivened by long balconies and numerous openings of various shapes. Accessible by elevator, the dual-aspect apartment, located on a corner, benefits from triple exposure and exceptional brightness. The double-height living room opens onto the sea through a monumental French window letting in the reflections of the ocean. The large volume highlights the original decorative elements such as the unique triangular fireplace, the geometric guardrail of the staircase with suspended steps or the glass paving stones surrounding the bay. The night area of this level, isolated by a hallway, is made up of three large bedrooms each with access to the balcony overlooking the ocean. The terrazzo floors here bear witness to the period of construction. The kitchen clad in terracotta tiles, the back kitchen and the bathroom open onto a small square whose primary red claustras brighten up the sober facades. The upper level has a second living room overlooking the living room, offering an even more aerial view of the Grande Conche through its large band windows.
