A 325m² apartment with three levels, in a townhouse listed as a historical monument, nestled in the city of Toulouse. The dual-aspect apartment takes up two floors in a townhouse that embodies Toulouse's built heritage. The street-facing facade has a classical design with four symmetrical bays. Beyond a carriage entrance door, there is a gallery of white stone in a court, beside a brick tower housing a staircase. This gallery links the street-facing part to the rear court-facing part. Here you see the first appearance in Toulouse of the three antique architectural orders, which the Renaissance brought back: Doric, Ionic and Corinthian pilasters are placed on top of one another. The entrance to the dwelling is at an intermediate level, between the inner court and the back, lower down. Stairs take you to it. These stairs also connect to the building's basement, from which you can reach the rear court and the apartment's parking place. There is a vaulted cellar at this level. This first level has an entrance hall, a dining room with a kitchenette, a lounge, an office and auxiliary rooms, including a wine cellar and a utility room. It offers a 175m² floor area. A spiral staircase takes you to the level above, linking the two floors. Up here there is a lounge, a glazed room used as a bedroom, and three other bedrooms, two of which are housed in the chancel of a chapel that has kept its pointed-arch windows. A straight staircase leads to another bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room, nestled beneath the chapel's rib-vaulted ceiling. This second level offers a 134m² floor area. Finally, from a landing at the top of the staircase linking the two floors, a door leads to a bedroom. With its shower room, this bedroom forms a separate studio apartment with a 16m² floor area.
