Built in the 1980s, this 90 m² architect-designed house is spread over two levels and fits perfectly on its 207 m² plot, set back from a quiet street in Caudéran.     Designed by architect Françoise Bousquet, the house was conceived to capture natural light throughout the day, while preserving the occupants' privacy through carefully framed views to the outside. Beyond the threshold, lines and perspectives structure the space. Arranged around the fireplace, the living room faces the garden and benefits from the warm afternoon light. Full-height French doors punctuate the facade and extend the gaze outwards thanks to the terracotta tile flooring, which ensures continuity throughout the house and its gardens. Concealed behind the fireplace, the original okoumé wood kitchen is revealed, opening onto a covered terrace enveloped in greenery. At the heart of the living room, a plastered staircase with wooden steps stands out like a true sculpture. Its shape allows it to become, by turns, a bookcase or a bench, and marks a subtle transition to the office space, discreetly tucked away. The staircase leads to the upper floor via a playful path, punctuated by plays of light and visual openings. The first open bedroom features a raised sleeping area designed as a set of integrated furniture: a tall Japanese-style shelf, storage units, and a desk, all crafted from okoume wood. A second, enclosed bedroom with a high ceiling is separated from the bathroom by a cubic storage unit. A double-height garage of approximately 15 m² completes the property and offers numerous layout possibilities according to the needs of future occupants.     To live in a unique and timeless space.
